Mr. Sottomayor joined the RREEF Infrastructure team in 2006, having previously worked as a Director in the European Utilities investment banking team of Citigroup and before that at EDP (an Iberian electricity utility) where he was head of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Sottomayor holds an economics degree from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
